Creditability is a creditworthiness score that can be managed and allocated to each of your credit products.

For example, if you have Rp10 million in Creditability and you own Jenius Paylater, Flexi Cash, and a Jenius Credit Card, you can allocate Rp1 million to Jenius Paylater, Rp4 million to Flexi Cash, and Rp5 million to the Jenius Credit Card.

Another example: if you have Rp5 million in Creditability and only own Jenius Paylater and Flexi Cash, you can allocate Rp500,000 to Jenius Paylater and Rp3 million to Flexi Cash. In this case, there is Rp1.5 million unallocated from your Creditability.

You are free to allocate your Creditability as needed. You can adjust the allocation amount as long as it adheres to the limits of each product. If there is a limit adjustment at the end of the month, the adjusted credit product limit will be saved back to Creditability and you can reallocate it.

What is Creditbility?

Creditbility is your creditworthiness limit that can be managed and allocated across different credit products you own.

For example, if you have Rp10 million in Creditbility and you’re using Jenius Paylater, Flexi Cash, and Jenius Credit Card, you can allocate Rp1 million to Paylater, Rp4 million to Flexi Cash, and Rp5 million to the Credit Card.

In another case, if you have Rp5 million in Creditbility and only use Jenius Paylater and Flexi Cash, you could allocate Rp500,000 to Paylater and Rp3 million to Flexi Cash. This means Rp1.5 million remains unallocated from your total Creditbility.

You’re free to allocate your Creditbility according to your needs, as long as the allocation respects each product’s limit. If there’s a limit adjustment at the end of the month, any unused or adjusted limit will be returned to your Creditbility and can be reallocated as needed.

Can I see the Creditbility I have in Jenius Credit?

Yes, you can view your Creditbility by going to the Credit page in the Jenius app.

What is the maximum Creditbility I can get?

The amount of Creditbility you can receive depends on your creditworthiness and the bank’s risk assessment. Currently, the maximum Creditbility you can have is IDR500,000,000.

My Creditbility decreased. What should I do?

Use Jenius actively and pay your bills on time to help maintain or improve your Creditbility.

Jenius offers three credit products: Jenius Paylater, Flexi Cash, and Jenius Credit Card. Each product comes with benefits you can use based on your needs.

What are the benefits of Jenius credit products?

With credit products that you can apply for directly through the Jenius app, you can manage your spending more efficiently and keep your cash flow organized.

Use Jenius Paylater for daily spending. Shop at various QRIS merchants and pay next month.

Access flexible funds through Flexi Cash, which you can withdraw multiple times as long as your limit is available.

Use your Jenius Credit Card to make online and offline transactions—locally or abroad—with ease.

Who can apply for Jenius credit products?

– Indonesian citizen (WNI)
– Aged between 21 and 60 years old at the time of application
– Residing within the Jenius service coverage area
– Employed in a profession that is not listed in the Sensitive Occupations List
– Not listed in the Bank’s Internal Blacklist

Where can I apply for Jenius credit products?

1. On the bottom navigation bar, select Credit.
2. Tap Let’s Check Creditbility & Apply!.
3. Complete your personal information, then tap Next.
4. Review and agree to the data analysis and verification statement, then tap Next.
5. Enter your Jenius password, then tap Submit.
6. Your application has been submitted. You can tap View Progress to track the application process.

If you don’t have a Jenius account yet, you can apply for Jenius credit products while you register your account:

1. Download the Jenius app on the App Store or Google Playstore.
2. Prepare your active e-mail and mobile number, KTP (Indonesian Identity Card) and Tax Payer Identity Number (NPWP, optional) to register.
3. On the intro page, choose I’m New to Jenius.
4. Input your active e-mail and mobile number.
5. Input the confirmation code sent to your e-mail and mobile number via SMS.
6. Create your Jenius password and device PIN.
7. Choose Credit Solution.
8. Continue the registration and credit worthiness (Creditbility) application process by filling in the other data needed.
9. Complete Face Recognition for your account security. Make sure you don’t wear any accessories on your face, your connection is stable, you are in a well-lit spot, and your face is inside the frame for an optimal Face Recognition process.
10. Wait until your credit worthiness (Creditbility) verification process is completed. You’ll receive an e-mail once it’s done.
11. Once the credit worthiness (Creditbility) result is available and if the offer suits your needs, choose I Want It Now!.
12. After your account is active, you can continue the credit process by activating your credit products before the offer expires.

What are the requirements to apply for Jenius credit products?

You can apply for a Jenius credit product if you meet the following criteria:

  • Indonesian Citizen (WNI).
  • Aged 21 to 60 years at the time of application.
  • Residing within Jenius’ coverage area.
  • Has a job that is not listed in the Sensitive Occupations List.
  • Not included in the Bank’s Internal Blacklist.
How long does the Jenius credit product application process take?

The result of your Jenius credit product application will be confirmed as soon as possible within 15 minutes, up to a maximum of 14 working days if further verification is required.

My application was approved. What should I do next?

You can activate the credit products you have. The offer will expire 3 months from the date your application decision is approved.

Once the offer expires, you will need to reapply to receive an offer. If you have already activated at least one credit product, other credit product offers can be activated anytime according to your needs.

I applied for a Jenius credit product but only received a Paylater offer. What can I do?

The credit product you are currently eligible for is the result of an assessment conducted by the bank. Keep increasing your use of the credit facilities you have and pay your bills on time to increase your chances of obtaining other credit products.

Why was my Jenius credit product application rejected?

Your Jenius credit product application may not be approved because it does not meet the bank’s internal criteria.

If my application was rejected, can I apply for a Jenius credit product again? If yes, when?

Yes, you can reapply 30 days after the date of your previous application decision.

If I already have one (1) or two (2) Jenius credit products (but not all), can I still apply for other credit products?

Currently, you can’t directly apply for other credit products because you already have Creditbility. You can view your Creditbility information on the Credit page. But don’t worry, Jenius regularly reviews your profile and may offer you additional credit products based on your needs.
If you urgently need a credit product, you can submit a request through SMBCI Care at 1500 365.

Can I apply for Creditbility?

Yes, all active Jenius users can apply for Creditibility.

How do I apply for a Jenius Credit Card?

You can apply for a Jenius Credit Card through the Creditbility menu in the Jenius app. Here’s how:

1. Go to the Credit page, then tap  Check Your Creditbility & Apply!.
2. Confirm your personal information, then tap Next.
3. Fill in your personal details, emergency contact, and referral/promo code (optional), then enter your password.
4. Give your consent for data analysis and verification.
5. Enter your password again to complete the application.
6. Your Creditbility application will be processed.

Once approved, you can immediately activate your Jenius Credit Card and start using it.

If you already have a Jenius credit product, that means you already have a Creditbility score. You can view your Creditbility on the Credit page. From there, you can allocate and manage your credit limits for Jenius Paylater, Flexi Cash, and the Jenius Credit Card.

I used to have a Jenius credit product but have closed it. Can I apply for Creditbility again?

No. Unfortunately, if all your previous Jenius credit products have been closed, you won’t be able to apply for a new Creditbility.

If I receive an offer, do I have to activate the credit product?

Yes, if you do not activate within 3 months, your offer will expire and you will have to reapply.

Is activation the same as application?

No, to maintain account efficiency and security, credit applications are only done once for all Jenius credit products.

Once your application is processed, you are free to choose which credit product you want to activate according to your needs.

How do I activate a Jenius credit product?

If you receive offers for multiple credit products, you need to activate them one by one. Here’s how:

To activate Jenius Paylater:
1. Open Credit page and tap Activate under Jenius Paylater.
2. Complete your personal and emergency contact information.
3. Tick the box to confirm your data, then tap Submit.
4. Read the terms and conditions, tick the box to agree, then tap Submit.
5. Enter your Jenius password, then tap Submit.
6. Your data has been submitted. Please wait for confirmation from Jenius.

To activate Flexi Cash:
1. Open Credit page and tap Activate under Flexi Cash.
2. Fill in your personal details and tap Next.
3. Choose your first withdrawal amount and tap Next.
4. Set your installment tenure, then tap Next.
5. Review all the information, then tap Next.
6. Review the fraud awareness message, then tap Understood & Agree.
7. Enter the OTP code.
8. Review the Flexi Cash agreement, then tap Activate & Withdraw.
9. Enter your Jenius password and tap Submit.

To activate Jenius Credit Card:
1. From the bottom navigation, go to the Card menu.
2. On the Card page, tap the Credit Card menu.
4. Tap Activate Now.
5. Choose your card design, set the name on the card, confirm your mailing address, then tap Submit.
6. Read the terms, conditions, and fees, check the agreement box, then tap Submit.
7. Enter your Jenius password and tap Submit.
8. Continue by tapping Explore Now.
9. Review the information, then tap Next.
10. On the final screen, tap Finish.
11. Finish the activation by tapping Choose Double Yay Category.
12. Select your preferred category and tap Submit.

How long does the Jenius credit product activation process take?

The activation process is done in real-time. Once the activation is successful, you can immediately use the Jenius credit product you have activated.

I have received a Creditbility offer. What should I do?

After your Creditbility application is approved, you can immediately activate the available credit products.
You can allocate Creditbility to credit products that you have already activated.
You are free to activate credit products according to your needs without any additional fees or hidden charges.

How do I allocate my Creditbility?

You can allocate your Creditbility based on your needs when activating a product or after you’ve activated one or more credit products.

Creditbility allocation during product activation:
1. Go to Credit page.
2. Select the product you want to activate.
3. Fill in the required information.
4. Choose the credit limit you want to allocate.
5. Agree to the terms and conditions, then enter your password for confirmation.
6. For Flexi Cash, you’ll need to make an initial withdrawal to complete activation.

Creditbility allocation after activating one or more products:
1. Go to the Credit page.
2. Tap Manage Creditbility allocation.
3. Set the desired limit for each product.
4. Tap Save and enter your password for confirmation.

How many times can I allocate Creditbility each month?>
Jenius does not limit how many times you can allocate Creditbility.
You are free to allocate it anytime according to your needs.

What are the conditions for Creditbility allocation?

1. Allocation must follow the maximum credit limit for each Jenius credit product.
2. Allocation can only be done if your credit facilities are not blocked and your payment status is current. If you have unpaid bills, please pay them off before adjusting your Creditbility.
4. For Jenius Paylater, you can only allocate Creditbility if you haven’t made a transaction this month. You can update your Paylater limit after fully repaying the bill from the previous month’s usage.
4. Minimum allocation must be in multiples of IDR 100,000.

I still have unallocated Creditbility, but I can’t allocate it. What should I do?

Here are some possible reasons why you might not be able to allocate your Creditbility:

1. Overdue payments: If you have unpaid bills, make sure to pay them first. Allocation cannot be done if your credit product is blocked.
2. Jenius Credit Card limit cap: The maximum limit for your Jenius Credit Card may be lower than your available Creditbility. Make sure your allocation fits within the allowable limit shown during the allocation process.
3. Technical issues: If none of the above applies, wait a moment and try again. If the issue continues, contact SMBCI Care at 1500 365 for further assistance.

I tried to allocate Creditbility a few days ago, but the status is still “in process.” What should I do?

The allocation process usually completes within a few minutes.
If it hasn’t been completed after a few minutes, try allocating again. If it still fails, contact SMBCI Care at 1500 365 for assistance.

What is Jenius credit product limit?

The Creditbility amount allocated for Jenius Paylater, and/or Flexi Cash, and/or Jenius Credit Card.

How much limit can I get from Jenius credit products?

The limits for Jenius Paylater, Flexi Cash, and Credit Card vary based on the Creditbility you receive during the credit application process. Once your Creditbility check is complete, you can allocate it to the available credit products based on your needs.

The credit limit you can receive ranges from IDR 300,000 to IDR 500,000,000, depending on your credit score as assessed by the bank.

I received an email stating that there will be a limit adjustment on my credit product. What should I do?

The email is an official notification from Jenius regarding the unused portion of your credit limit. That unused limit will be returned and stored as Creditbility, so you can reallocate and use it whenever needed.

This limit adjustment is Jenius’ way of ensuring that your limit remains available, even if you don’t currently need it.

What are the conditions for Flexi Cash limit adjustment?

Your Flexi Cash limit may be adjusted if you meet the following criteria:

1. You’ve had access to Flexi Cash for 90 days or more since your first activation.
2. You have more than 3 million in unused Flexi Cash limit.

But don’t worry, any adjusted limit will be stored as Creditbility and can still be reallocated anytime based on your needs.

What are the conditions for Jenius Credit Card limit adjustment?

Your Jenius Credit Card limit may be adjusted if you meet all of the following criteria:

1. You’ve had access to your Jenius Credit Card for 90 days or more since your first activation.
2. Your total credit card limit is IDR 10 million or more.
3. Your average usage or outstanding balance over the past 3 months is less than or equal to 50% of your total credit limit.

If you meet all the conditions above, your Jenius Credit Card limit will be reduced based on the following rules:

a. If your average usage over the past 3 months is IDR 0, your credit card limit will be reduced to IDR 10 million.
b. If your average usage over the past 3 months is more than IDR 0 and less than or equal to 50%, your remaining credit card limit will be reduced by 50% or to IDR 10 million, whichever is greater.

But don’t worry, any adjusted limit will be stored as Creditbility and can still be reallocated anytime based on your needs.

What are the conditions for Jenius Paylater limit adjustment?

For Jenius Paylater, there will be no limit adjustment.

Who will receive a limit adjustment on Jenius credit products?

Limit adjustments will apply to Jenius users who meet the specific criteria set for each credit product, Flexi Cash or the Jenius Credit Card. These criteria include factors such as how long you’ve had the product, your unused limit amount, and your usage behavior over the past 3 months.

Users who meet these criteria may have part of their unused limit returned to their Creditbility, which they can reallocate at any time based on their needs.

Will I receive a notification about changes to my Jenius credit product limit?

Yes, you will receive a notification via email and push notification when a limit change occurs for any of your Jenius credit products.

Does receiving a limit adjustment email mean my credit limit will definitely change?

Not necessarily. The email is an official notification from Jenius regarding the possibility of storing your unused credit limit, but it doesn’t always mean your limit will be adjusted.

Your credit limit will remain unchanged if it meets the following criteria:

For Jenius Paylater:
No limit adjustment will be made.

For Flexi Cash:
1. Your Flexi Cash hasn’t reached 90 days since initial activation, or
2. Your unused Flexi Cash limit is IDR 3 million or less.

For Jenius Credit Card:
1. Your credit card limit is below IDR 10 million,
2. Your credit usage is >50% of your limit, or
3. Your card hasn’t reached 90 days since initial activation.

Why does my credit product limit need to be adjusted by Jenius?

To help keep your account secure, Jenius automatically reallocates any unused credit limit. But don’t worry, you can always reassign your Creditbility to each credit product whenever you need it.

Does a limit adjustment mean my Jenius credit product limit will change permanently?

No, as long as you still have unallocated Creditbility, you can reassign your Jenius credit product limit anytime as you wish.

How do I request a credit limit increase for my Jenius credit product?

You can adjust your credit product limit as needed by allocating your available Creditbility through the Jenius app.

If there’s no remaining Creditbility to allocate, you can either submit a manual request to increase your Creditbility, or receive an automatic increase based on the Bank’s assessment. Once your Creditbility is increased, you can allocate it to your preferred Jenius credit product.

My Credit Card or Flexi Cash limit decreased. What should I do?

Check your Creditbility on the Credit page. If you see a grey bar indicating unallocated Creditbility, you can reallocate it to your Credit Card or Flexi Cash product as needed.

Can I apply for a Creditbility increase? If yes, how?

Creditbility increases are determined regularly every month. If you meet the criteria, you will automatically receive an increase without having to apply. Alternatively, you can also contact SMBCI Care at 1500 365 or [email protected] to apply for a Creditbility increase yourself.

How do I apply for a Creditbility increase?

Contact SMBCI Care at 1500 365 or [email protected] to apply for a Creditbility increase and make sure to prepare:

1. Supporting documents such as income documents, bank statements from the last 3 months, or your annual tax return (SPT).
2. Tax ID Number (NPWP) – required if you’re applying for a Creditbility above Rp50,000,000.
3. The amount of Creditbility increase you’re applying for and the reason for the increase.
4. Make sure your credit facility is not currently blocked and that your payment performance is in good standing.

If my Creditbility increase application is rejected, can I apply again? If yes, when?

Yes. You can reapply after 12 months from the date of your application decision.

My Creditbility increased. What should I do?

Congrats! Your Creditbility has increased and can be allocated to the Jenius credit products you own. Go to the Credit page to allocate the new amount.

How to allocate:
1. On the Home page, select Credit and choose Manage Creditbility Allocation
2. Allocate the credit limit to each credit product by tapping on each one and entering the desired limit
3. Enter your password, then tap Submit.
4. Your new credit limits for each credit product will be successfully allocated

How do I terminate Creditbility?

You can terminate your Creditbility by contacting SMBCI Care via phone at 1500 365.

What requirements must I meet to terminate Creditbility?

You can terminate your Creditbility if all the credit facilities you own have been fully paid off.

What happens to my Jenius credit product limit if I terminate Creditbility?

All Jenius credit facilities you have will be closed if you terminate your Creditbility.

Can I reapply for Creditbility after I have terminated it?

No. Creditbility that has been terminated cannot be reapplied for.
