A correspondent bank connects a sender’s bank (the bank you use to send Foreign Currency) and a beneficiary bank. Meanwhile, a beneficiary bank is a bank to which the Foreign Currency is sent.
There are 2 networks available for sending foreign currency via Jenius: SWIFT and non-SWIFT.
SWIFT (Society for Worldwide Interbank Financial Telecommunications) is a network that connects over 10,000 financial institutions in 212 countries. To send money via this network, you must input a SWIFT code, which consists of 8-11 characters.
Non-SWIFT is a network used by Jenius to send foreign currency faster and at more affordable fees. To send money via this network, you need to enter a routing number (ACH) or BSB number.
You must send the currency to the country where it is the official currency. For example, USD to the United States, GBP to the United Kingdom, or SGD to Singapore.

On the line above Active Balance, choose Foreign Currency you want to send.

Non-SWIFT: Input the transfer amount first
– Input the amount you want to send. You can turn on the Full Amount button for USD transfers to countries other than the United States. Choose Next.
– Add the recipient’s details, then choose Next again.
– Make sure all information is correct then choose Yes, Continue.
SWIFT: Input the recipient bank details first
– Add recipient bank details (SWIFT code, IBAN code, sort code, and account number), then choose Next.
– Choose transaction purpose and complete recipient details, then choose Next.

– Input the amount you want to send, then choose Next. You can turn on the Full Amount button and add notes if needed.

Yes. We will refund your money to the Foreign Currency balance you used. It’ll be recorded as Refund category on In & Out.
For your information, the money will be refunded to your Foreign Currency balance according to the transfer amount and deductions from the correspondent bank (if any). Please note that refunds don’t include Provision Fee, Telex Fee, or Full Amount Fee.
Money will be refunded in full (including Provision Fee, Telex, and Full Amount Fee) if the transaction was canceled due to not passing the AML (Anti-money laundering) screening. Other than that, the refunded amount is the Transfer Amount.
Please note that the refund amount may not be the same as previous Transfer Amount. It depends on the prevailing exchange rate and the fees charged by the beneficiary bank or correspondent bank.
We can’t confirm the refund time because it depends on the correspondent bank’s and beneficiary bank’s policies.

Foreign Currency sender must fill in your data as the recipient (name, contact, address, etc.) according to the data registered with the Bank. For address data, the sender can enter your KTP address.
If the name of the recipient that the sender entered is different from the name registered on the Bank, the Foreign Currency might be returned to the sender.
The bank will convert the foreign currency that was sent to the currency that matches your account number using the prevailing BTPN exchange rate at that time.
