How can I earn Yay Points?

You will earn Yay Points for every offline or online transaction.
– Domestic transactions worth IDR 10,000 equals 1 Yay Points and multiples apply.
– International transactions and transactions in selected categories are subject to Double Yay (2x Yay Points).

What are the benefits of Yay Points?

What are the terms and condition for Yay Points?

– Yay Points are calculated rounded down..
– Cash withdrawal transactions, interest, fees, and recurring bills do not earn Yay Points.
– Recurring bill transactions will earn Yay Points.
– International transactions and transactions in selected categories are subject to Double Yay (2x Yay Points).
– Yay Points are valid for 24 months from the date the points were earned and will be expired on the 1st of the following month.

Where can I access and manage my Yay Points?

There are two ways to access and manage your Yay Points in the Jenius app.
– On the Home page, select the Yay Points menu.
– On the Wealth page, select the Credit Card menu, scroll to the Credit Card Information section, and then select Learn More on the Yay Points box.

 

What are the terms and condition for Double Yay?

– Applies to transactions made in foreign currencies.
– Applies to transactions within the selected categories.
– Category grouping follows the Visa Merchant Category Code (MCC). The bank reserves the right to change the Double Yay category grouping at any time.
– The Double Yay category can be changed once per month after the billing statement date.
– If a category has not been selected, all domestic transactions will earn Yay Points under normal conditions.
– You will receive Double Yay on the billing statement date.

What are the Double Yay categories?

– Travel & Leisure

How to choose the Double Yay category?

– Tap Cards on the bottom navigation.
– On the Card Center, select the Credit Card menu, then tap Choose category here.
– Select the most suitable category, then tap Send.
– You have successfully chosen the Double Yay category.

How do I change the Double Yay category?

– Tap Cards on the bottom navigation.
– On the Card Center, tap the Credit Card menu,
– Scroll to the Credit Card Information section, then tap More in the Yay Points box.
– Tap the Double Yay box.
– Select Change Category.
– Select a new category from the available options, then tap Save.
– Input your Jenius password, then tap Save.
– Double Yay category has been successfully changed!

How does Jenius group the Double Yay categories?

The Double Yay category grouping follows Visa’s Merchant Category Code (MCC).

Are online transactions also entitled to Double Yay?

Yes. Online and offline transactions will get Double Yay if they meet the terms and condition. The following are the terms of Double Yay:

– Valid for international purchase transactions with non-Indonesian country codes.
– Valid for transactions with the category that has been selected.
– The grouping of categories follows the Visa Merchant Category Code (MCC).
– Double Yay category can be changed 1x per month after the billing date is printed.
– If a category has not been selected, all domestic transactions will receive Yay Points under normal conditions.

Why don’t online transactions in the Indonesian marketplace get Double Yay?

Currently, online transactions in the Indonesian marketplace have not received Double Yay because the transaction mechanism does not meet the bank’s internal criteria. You will get information about this when the new mechanism is provided.

How do I know that the points I got are Double Yay?

Double Yay is automatically earned if your transaction meets the terms and conditions. Currently, Double Yay points are given using the normal point nominal mechanism twice. You can check incoming points with the following steps:

– Tap Cards on the bottom navigation.
– On the Card Center, tap the Credit Card menu.
– Scroll to the Credit Card Information section, then select Learn More in the Yay Points box.
– Tap See point transactions.

I have meet the conditions for Double Yay, why do my points count as normal?

Currently, points that meet the Double Yay terms and conditions are given using a mechanism of sending the normal nominal points twice with accumulation according to Double Yay.

What happens if I haven’t selected the Double Yay category?

You will still get points according to normal conditions.

How many times can I change the Double Yay category? Are there any limitations?

The Double Yay category can be changed once per month after the billing statement date.

I have met the criteria to get a Double Yay. Why do I get only normal point amount?

Currently, the Double Yay program can be seen by increasing the normal number of points twice. You can double-check the list of incoming points by tapping on See Point Transactions with the following steps:

– Select Cards on the bottom navigation.
– select the Credit Card menu from the Card Center.
– Scroll to the Credit Card Information section, then select Learn more in the Yay Points box.
– Tap See Point Transactions.

What rewards are available?

There are four rewards options available for your Yay Points redemption.

e-Wallet
– Redeem points for GoPay balance.
– Redeem points for OVO balance.

Travel
– Redeem points for Traveloka Points.
– Redeem points for KrisFlyer Miles
– Redeem points for GarudaMiles.
– Redeem points for AirAsia MOVE.
– Redeem points for LinkMiles.

Goods & Foods
– Redeem points for MAPCLUB Points.

What are the conditions for redeeming Yay Points with rewards?

– Make sure you have min. 2,500 Yay Points.
– Redemption to GoPay balance is free of admin fee.
– Redemption to OVO Cash balances is subject for an admin fee of IDR 1,500 from OVO.
– You can redeem Yay Points to your saved GoPay, and OVO accounts according to your points availability.
– You can save more than 1 GoPay and OVO account as needed.

How do you redeem Yay Points to a GoPay balance?

– On the bottom navigation, tap Cards.
– On the Card Center, tap Credit Card menu,
– Scroll to the Credit Card Information section, then tap More on the Yay Points box.
– Scroll to the E-Wallet section in the Catalog, then tap GoPay Balance.
– Enter the mobile number connected to the Gojek account, then tap Next.
– Select the intended redemption amount. Activate the Save this account button, enter a name for saving the ID, then select Next.
– Review the Yay Points redemption confirmation page, then select Send.
– Input your Jenius password, then select Submit.
– You have successfully redeemed your points with GoPay balance.

How do you redeem Yay Points to a OVO balance?

– On the bottom navigation, tap Cards.
– On the Card Center, tap Credit Card menu,
– Scroll to the Credit Card Information section, then tap More on the Yay Points box.
– Scroll to the E-Wallet section in the Catalog, then tap OVO Cash.
– Enter the mobile number connected to the OVO account, then tap Next.
– Select the intended redemption amount. Activate the Save this account button, enter a name for saving the ID, then select Next.
– Review the Yay Points redemption confirmation page, then select Send.
– Input your Jenius password, then select Submit.
– You have successfully redeemed your points with OVO Cash.

Why is redeeming to OVO Cash balances subject to an admin fee?

An admin fee of IDR 1,500 is charged by OVO and is automatically deducted every time you make a redemption.
Regardless of the number of Yay Points redeemed, the admin fee is still IDR 1,500.

How do you redeem Yay Points for MAPCLUB Points?

– On the bottom navigation, tap Cards.
– On the Card Center, tap Credit Card menu,
– Scroll to the Credit Card Information section, then tap More on the Yay Points box.
– Scroll to the Goods & Foods section in the Catalog, then tap MAPCLUB Points.
– Enter the mobile number and member name that are registered on ypour MAPCLUB Points account, then tap Next.
– Select the intended redemption amount. Activate the Save this account button, enter a name for saving the ID, then select Next.
– Review the Yay Points redemption confirmation page, then select Send.
– Input your Jenius password, then select Submit.
– You have successfully redeemed your points for MAPCLUB Points.

What are the terms and condition for redeeming Yay Points to Travel rewards?

– – Ensure your minimum average monthly balance is IDR100,000,000 to redeem Yay Points for GarudaMiles and KrisFlyer Miles.
– After the first redemption, your GarudaMiles, KrisFlyer Miles, LinkMiles, and AirAsia MOVE accounts will automatically be saved in the Jenius application for the next 1 year.
– Yay Points redemption can only be made to 1 saved GarudaMiles and KrisFlyer Miles account.
– Changes to saved GarudaMiles and KrisFlyer Miles accounts can only be made once a year.
-You can save more than 1 Traveloka account as needed.
– Redemption to GarudaMiles, KrisFlyer Miles, LinkMiles, AirAsia MOVE, and Traveloka Points are free of any additional charge/fee.
– Redemption to GarudaMiles, KrisFlyer Miles, and Traveloka points are free of any additional charge/fee.
– You can redeem Yay Points to your saved GarudaMiles, KrisFlyer Miles, LinkMiles, AirAsia MOVE, and Traveloka Points accounts according to your points availability.
– The following is the minimum amount of Yay Points for redemption to Travel rewards:

  1. Min. 2,500 Yay Points for redemption to Traveloka Points.
  2. Min. 30,000 Yay Points for redemption to KrisFlyer Miles.
  3. Min. 20,000 Yay Points for redemption to GarudaMiles.
  4. Min. 15,000 Yay Points for redemption to LinkMiles.
  5. Min. 10,000 Yay Points for redemption to AirAsia MOVE.
How do I redeem Yay Points for Traveloka Points?

– On the bottom navigation, tap Cards.
– On the Card Center, tap Credit Card menu, scroll to the Credit Card Information section, then tap More on the Yay Points box.
– Scroll to the Travel section in the Catalog, then tap Traveloka.
– Enter the phone number that is registered on your Traveloka, then select Next.
– Select the intended redemption amount. Activate the Save this account button, enter a name for saving the ID, then select Continue.
– Review the Yay Points redemption confirmation page, then select Send.
– Input your Jenius password, then tap Submit.
– You have successfully redeemed your points with Traveloka Points.

How do I redeem Yay Points for KrisFlyer Miles?

– On the bottom navigation, tap Cards.
– On the Card Center, tap Credit Card menu, scroll to the Credit Card Information section, then tap More on the Yay Points box.
– Scroll to the Travel section in the Catalog, then tap KrisFlyer.
– Enter the ID KrisFlyer Membership, given name, and family name, then select Next.
– Select the intended redemption amount. Activate the Save this account button, enter a name for saving the ID, then select Continue.
– Review the Yay Points redemption confirmation page, then select Send.
– Input your Jenius password, then tap Submit.
– You have successfully redeemed your points with KrisFlyer Miles.

What is KrisFlyer ID?

KrisFlyer ID is your identity that has been registered on KrisFlyer. This identity is represented by the KrisFlyer Membership.

How do you redeem Yay Points for LinkMiles?

– On the bottom navigation, tap Cards.
– On the Card Center, tap Credit Card menu, scroll to the Credit Card Information section, then tap More on the Yay Points box.
– Scroll to the Travel section in the Catalog, then tap LinkMiles.
– Enter the email and member name that are registered on your LinkMiles, then select Next.
– Select the intended redemption amount. Activate the Save this account button, enter a name for saving the ID, then select Continue.
– Review the Yay Points redemption confirmation page, then select Send.
– Input your Jenius password, then tap Submit.
– You have successfully redeemed your points for LinkMiles.

How do you redeem Yay Points for AirAsia MOVE?

– On the bottom navigation, tap Cards.
– On the Card Center, tap Credit Card menu, scroll to the Credit Card Information section, then tap More on the Yay Points box.
– Scroll to the Travel section in the Catalog, then tap AirAsia MOVE.
– Enter the email and member name that are registered on your LinkMiles, then select Next.
– Select the intended redemption amount. Activate the Save this account button, enter a name for saving the ID, then select Continue.
– Review the Yay Points redemption confirmation page, then select Send.
– Input your Jenius password, then tap Submit.
– You have successfully redeemed your points for AirAsia MOVE.

Why do I need my first name and surname to redeem KrisFlyer Miles?

Complete identification including first name and surname is required for verification process by KrisFlyer.

My Yay Points redemption was successful, why haven’t my redeemed increased?

Generally, point redemption is done in real time. However, if further data checking is required, the adjustment process might be slightly delayed.

– For redemption with OVO Cash, Gopay, and Traveloka, data verification may take up to 5 working days.
– For redemption with KrisFlyer Miles, data verification may take up to 15 working days.

How do I monitor the Yay Points that I have?

– Tap Cards on the bottom navigation.
– On the Card Center, tap the Credit Card menu,
– Scroll to the Credit Card Information section, then tap More in the Yay Points box.
– Tap View your points transactions.
– Review the points incoming history.
– Tap Points Redeemed to see details.

How do I keep track of the Yay Points I redeem?

– Tap Cards on the bottom navigation.
– On the Card Center, tap the Credit Card menu,
– Scroll to the Credit Card Information section, then tap More in the Yay Points box.
– Tap View your points transactions.
– Tap Outgoing menu, choose the transaction to see details.

Why don’t my Jenius Credit Card transactions earn Yay Points?

The following are several reasons why Yay Points may not be earned in the Jenius app:

– Technical issues with the merchant or platform used for Jenius Credit Card transactions.
– Yay Points may not be credited in real time for some transactions. In such cases, you may need to wait a few moments until the Yay Points appear in your Jenius app.

What should I do to ensure that my Jenius Credit Card transactions earn Yay Points?

Here are some provisions to consider:

– Yay Points are calculated rounding down.
– Cash withdrawal transactions, interest, and fees do not earn Yay Points.
– Recurring bill transactions earn Yay Points.
– Foreign currency transactions and transactions in selected categories can earn Double Yay Points (2x Yay Points).

Will Jenius Credit Card transactions at all merchants earn Yay Points?

No. As of April 6, 2024, Jenius Credit Card transactions on business & invoice payment platform will no longer earn Yay Points.

In addition, payments for monthly bills and government agencies through e-commerce platforms will not earn Yay Points.

Here is a list of monthly bill payments and government agencies through e-commerce platforms that do not earn Yay Points:
– Perusahaan Listrik Negara (PLN)
– Perusahaan Air Minum (PAM)
– Online Tax
– Customs fee
– Immigration Fees
– BPJS Payments
– And other government agencies through e-commerce platforms.

Why don’t Jenius Credit Card transactions on the business & invoice payment platform and utilities and other government institutions earn Yay Points?

Transactions on the business & invoice payment platform, as well as monthly bills and government agencies through e-commerce platforms, do not earn Yay Points because Jenius aims to maximize your benefits in transactions according to your preferences, such as daily transactions and travel categories.

Why do my Yay Points need to be adjusted?

Jenius has adjusted the number of Yay Points displayed in your app according to your transaction activity that has occured and your Yay Points usage.

Why is my Yay Points balance negative?

The number of Yay Points may become negative if Jenius identifies any discrepancies in the accumulation of Yay Points in your Jenius app. This can happen if you have redeemed Yay Points obtained from transactions that do not meet the criteria for earning Yay Points.

When will my Yay Points display return to normal?

Transactions that do not earn Yay Points include:

  • Transactions at business & invoice payment platform
  • Monthly bills and government agency payments through merchants or e-commerce platforms
  • Transactions canceled by customer
  • Transactions categorized as fraud according to the bank’s internal criteria
What transactions should not receive Yay Points?

Your Yay Points balance will return to normal once you have sufficient Yay Points to cover your previous Yay Points shortage. Make sure to continue using your Jenius Credit Card for transactions to earn Yay Points.

Can Yay Points only be earned from my credit card transactions?

No. You can earn Yay Points in various ways besides credit card transactions. Make sure to update the app to the latest version to get the most current information on how to earn them.

Can I still earn Yay Points if my credit card is inactive?

Yes. You can still earn Yay Points even if your credit card is inactive or blocked. Make sure to update the app to the latest version to get the most current information on how to earn them.

Can the Yay Points I earn from non-credit card transactions be redeemed?

Yes. You can redeem Yay Points as usual, regardless of how you earned them.
