Split Bill

Split Bill is a feature to splitting a payment and request the money from other Jenius users. Jenius will calculate the bill splitting automatically and track your money request status (if it’s pending, rejected, or paid).

How do I split bills with Jenius?

1. On the Home page of your Jenius app, choose Request Money.
2. Choose Split Bill.
2. Choose the intended $Cashtag from your contact list or tap Input Manually to add manually.
3. Tap Done after you have selected the contact from the list.
4. Input the amount of bill you want to split, then reset the number manually based on what each person spent if you must.
5. You can also add notes if it’s necessary.
6. Review the Split Bill request one more time before tapping Send Request.

You can also split the bill of a previously made transaction to your friends:
1. On the Home page of your Jenius app, choose View In & Out.
2. Choose the transactionn you’d like to split with friends.
3. Choose Split Bill.

How do I send money if I receive a Split Bill request?

1. Tap on the notification icon with the shape of bell at the top right of the dashboard page in your Jenius app.
2. In that notification page, choose the money request you want to pay.
3. Review the request details once again before tapping Send Money to pay the bill.

How do I reject a Split Bill that I received?

1. Tap on the Notification icon with the shape of bell at the top right of the Home page in your Jenius app.
2. In that Notification page, choose the money request you want to decline.
3. Review the request details once again before tapping Decline to decline the request.

Can I send a Split Bill request to a non-Jenius user?

Currently, you can’t send a Split Bill request to a non-Jenius user.
