What if I forget my Jenius password?

You can reset your password in Jenius app. Before you begin, make sure you have a physical m-Card (main debit card) and that your registered mobile number in Jenius is still active.

1. If you aren’t logged in, choose I already have an account, then choose Reset Password. If you’re logged in, choose Use Password on the PIN page, then choose Forgot password?.
2. Input the e-mail you’ve registered to your Jenius account, then choose Next.
3. Input the 6-digit confirmation code we’ve sent to your registered mobile number.
4. Input the 3-digit CVV code and the expiry date of your m-Card.
5. Create a new password. Make sure your password includes uppercase, lowercase, number, and has min. 10 characters. Then, re-enter your password and choose Reset Password.
6. Your password is successfully updated. You will be directed to Jenius intro page and you can log in with your new password.

Notes:
– If you haven’t received the confirmation code sent to your mobile number, make sure you’ve input the correct e-mail registered to your Jenius account on the previous page. Then, check your phne signal and try to resend the code.
– If you still haven’t received the confirmation code sent to your mobile number, you can reset your password by calling Jenius Help at 1500 365 or visiting Jenius booth/Bank BTPN branch office at these location.

What’s the difference between device PIN and card PIN?

Your device PIN is used to sign in to your Jenius app, this is the PIN you created during the registration process.

Meanwhile, your card PIN is used for when you do transactions or if you want to withdraw cash in ATMs with Jenius Debit Card or Jenius Credit Card. This PIN was created when you activated your Jenius Debit Card or Jenius Credit Card and can be changed in the Cards page.

What should I do if I forgot my device PIN?

You can reset your device PIN from the Enter Your PIN page on your Jenius app.

1. Open your Jenius app.
2. Choose Use Password.
3. Input your Jenius password, then tap Submit
4. Input the 6-digit verification code we’ve sent via SMS to your mobile number.
5. Create a new 6-digit device PIN.
6. Re-enter your PIN to confirm.
7. Your device PIN is successfully updated. Now you can log in to Jenius using your new PIN.

I don’t receive any verification code to log in. What should I do?

Check your mobile network. If there’s been a network issue, restart your phone or put it on a flight mode for a moment then turn it off to try again. If you still haven’t received the SMS, you can try to resend code.

First thing first, make sure you’ve input your registered e-mail on the previous page. Next, check your mobile network.

What is Biometric Login?

Biometric login is an easier way to log in to your Jenius app with your face or fingerprint registered in your device. With biometric login, you don’t have to input your device PIN to log in, just tap the face or fingerprint icon at the bottom left corner of the PIN page and authenticate using your face or fingerprint.

What are the differences between biometric login and Face Recognition?

Here are the differences between Face Recognition and biometric login.

Biometric login:

– The registration is done in your device.
– The authentication is done by matching your actual face with your photo that is saved in your device.
– The registered face photo is saved in your device and it can be changed anytime.
– Used to log in to Jenius app.

Face Recognition:

– The registration is done within Jenius app
– The authentication is done by matching your actual face with your photo that is saved in Jenius.
– The registered face photo is only saved in Jenius’ system and it can’t be changed.
– Used to unlink your Jenius account from your previous device and link it to a new device.

How do I activate biometric login?

1. Choose Profile on the bottom navigation in your Jenius app.
2. Tap the gear icon on the top right corner of the page.
3. Choose the Settings menu.
4. Turn on the Activate Biometric Login toggle.
5. Input your device PIN.
6. Authenticate using your face or fingerprint.
7. Biometric login is successfully activated.

Why can’t I see any fingerprint activation option?

Make sure that the device you’re using supports biometric authentication with face or fingerprint such as Face ID/Face Unlock or Touch ID/Fingerprint Scanner.

If your device doesn’t support biometric authentication, you can still log in to Jenius with your device PIN.
